The 8th Annual Carolina Music Video Awards

CMVA107.5FM Announces the 8th Annual Carolina Music Video Awards.

The board of the CMVA is in the process of planning an incredible night which celebrates the tremendous amount of talent in the nation as well as internationally.

 

Charlotte, NC: CMVA107.5FM, is a local independent radio station that advocates for equitable diversity, is announcing the 8th Annual Carolina Music Video Awards, an awards ceremony presenting visual performances, live performances, community and music education. The 8th Annual Carolina Music Video Awards will be hosted within the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center,
at the Booth Playhouse on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 6PM-10PM. Hosted by: Queen City News Anchor Kaci Jones and 102.5FM's very own Jknow Truth. Music by: Dj T.O.

 

The Carolina Music Video Awards will be introducing a new segment entitled, “The Best College Music Video Competition.” This new segment will feature Johnson C Smith University. The participating students of Johnson C Smith University will be creating a music video for a chance to win not only the title of "Best College Music Video" but also a scholarship. After music videos are submitted it will be judged by our committee.

Once the committee has reviewed the music videos they will select the winner of “The Best College Music Video” and the winner will be announced at the awards ceremony. 

The Carolina Music Video Awards celebrates all genres of music and we recognize pillars in the community for their achievements. The 8th Annual Carolina Music Video Awards is expected to have 400 attendees. This event has become Carolina's signature entertainment awards show that celebrates the art of music videos from independent/national music artists.
